Vidwan Shri. H.N. Bhaskar

Vidwan H.N. Bhaskar, an internationally reputed senior violinist. He is the son and disciple of Vidwan Shri. H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Vidushi Smt. H.N. Rajalakshmi of Mysuru. Widely noted for his emotive and adroit playing, he is one of the most sought-after violinists of the present.

 

Bhaskar took the able guidance of the great Violin Maestro Sangeetha Kalanidhi Padmasri Parur M.S. Gopalakrishnan for more than a decade. He accompanies all the top-notch musicians of the day and has been extensively acclaimed by all. He is a top-graded violinist of the All India Radio and Doordarshan and is also a graded composer of the All India Radio.

 

A Sangeeth Natak Akademi’s (Govt. of India) Yuva awardee, Bhaskar is featured in exceptionally reputed venues such as the Sydney Opera House Australia, The World Music Fest Forbidden City in China, The Carnegie Hall, NYC, etc.

Vidwan Shri. Arunkumar, world-renowned drummer and inter-disciplinary musician.

 

Arun over the years has carved a niche for himself in the world of percussion as one of the few drummers who do interdisciplinary music. He has trained for jazz drumming under his father B.S Sukumar and the renowned drummer Ranjit Barot. Arun also trained in Carnatic percussion under Shri. S.V.Giridhar and Shri. Anoor Anantha Krishna Sharma.

 

He has performed in different genera of music legends like Dr. M Balamuralikrishna, Dr. S P Balasubramanayam, Dr. K J Yesudas, Sudha Raghunathan, Pandit Ronu Muzumdar, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhat, Tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussian, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan and many legendary musicians.

Vidwan Tumakuru B. Ravishankar, one of the prominent Mrudangamist from India and staff artist, All India Radio, Mysuru.

 

Presently, a top grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, Ravishankar hails from the family of Mridangam artists. He started learning about Mridangam from his father Shri. Tumkur T.V. Bhadrachar and later advanced training from the great Mridangam maestro Guru Shri. Karaikudi R. Mani.

Vidwan Shri. K.U. Jayachandra is one of the stalwarts in the world of Indian rhythm today.

 

Being known for his rich, melodious sound as well as his versatility and creative artistry, he is one of the most sought-after accompanists who belongs to the relatively rare list of left-hand players. He has been a part of numerous International Music Festivals with renowned musicians and has toured more than 20 countries. Jayachandra draws on his vast knowledge and depth of experience to train many students around the world in the art of the Mridangam over the last twenty-five years.

Vidushi Smt. Sindhu Suchethan and Vidushi Smt. H.M. Smitha, Vocal and Violinists, and ‘A’ Grade artists, AIR, Bengaluru. They hail from a rich musical lineage. They are the granddaughters of veteran violinist Vidwan A. V. Venkatanarayana. The sisters are trained under the noted violinist Ganakalabhushana Shri H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Vid. H.N. Rajalakshmi. Their skills were also mentored by Vidushi Pushpa Srinivasan and T.K. Srinivasan.
